Privacy
The short version
If you join the WARHOUSE mailing list, we keep your email address so we can tell you when the game launches and when there are major updates. That's all we use it for. We don't sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you type it into a sign-up form on this site.
- When you signed up (a date and time).
- A scrambled code made from your IP address - a one-way hash, not the address itself - used only to stop automated spam sign-ups.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Like any web host, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and operations.
Where it's kept
Sign-ups are stored in a file on our own web hosting account (GoDaddy), in a private folder that can't be reached from the web. If we move the list to an email service to send our launch email, we'll update this page to name it, and that first email will ask you to confirm you still want to hear from us.
Leaving the list, or deleting your data
Email simulatorswithshotguns [at] cavemanit [dot] ca with the word "unsubscribe" or "delete" and the address you signed up with, and we'll remove it. Every email we send will also carry an unsubscribe link.
Age
The mailing list is for people aged 13 and over (16 and over in countries that set a higher age for consent online).
